I cant recover my website using the SQL import with the backup file created. It is giving me the error
Errors:
The file does not seem to be a valid SQL file. Import not possible.
The backup file is 47.4 mb.

Try to import with phpmyadmin, and it’ll tell you exactly what the error is.
In my case, it was the collation. I did a find+replace in the entire sql file, which allowed the import to proceed.
I replaced
utf8mb4_unicode_520_ciwith
utf8mb4_unicode_ci
