A few days ago pixel started firing View Content, Add to Cart, Initiate Checkout and Purchase more then it should – 3 4 5 6 X times.

Pixel helper has the following message – The Facebook pixel activated X times on this web page, which can cause errors in

Reporting in FB ads is affected as more purchases get registered instead of 1

    Hello,

It’s an unusual problem and I can’t give you a definitive answer since I don’t have access to your site. However, make sure that the pixel is not installed multiple times and that you don’t have events added by something else. This can be another plugin, GTM, custom code, or even Events Manager settings (you need to have events without code turned OFF).

same thing happening for me since the last update. reporting in fb ads ix 2x more. though i don’t get that pixel helper error message.

i am getting error in Woocommerce > Status > — ERROR FeaturesUtil::declare_compatibility: /home/customer/www/vboutique13.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pixelyoursite/pixelyoursite.php is not a known WordPress plugin.

    Hello,

Please place an order and send me the exact URL you get after completing the payment: https://www.pixelyoursite.com/contact

I need to check your events on the order confirmation page.

After checking the site I discovered that there is indeed an extra Purchase event fired on the checkout page when the “Place an order” button is clicked. This event is not fired by our plugin. I suspect is related to a plugin that modifies the checkout page.

    Usual recommendations for such issues:

    1. Test your events using Pixel Helper Chrome extension. Look for extra Purchase events.
    2. If you find any, try to understand what fires them. Usual causes: events configure on PixelYourSite’s Events page, events fired by other plugins, custom code, theme settings, GTM.
    3. Make sure you don’t have Automatic Events Without Code turned ON in your Meta Events Manager.

Do you mean that purchase event with no parameters fires even if the plugin that modifies your checkout page is deactivated?

yes. still purchase event with no parameters fires even if the plugin that modifies checkout page is deactivated

@taura20 just found a workaround – change your checkout page url – for example /checkout-2/ and the issue will be solved for now

@gndbooks just tried by changing checkout page url but still same issue happening. -https://prnt.sc/g9mdivUrsvxN (btw i also offer only cash on delivery)
