the-excerpt-reloaded question (for kaf….)

    Using the plugin to make the excerpts behave as regards links, pics, paragraphing etc. All working fine until we added in a “fix the stupid smart quotes” plugin (wpuntexturize from coffee2code). WordPress version 2.0.4…. site in question https://bitchslappin.net/

    Now, paragraphing is still working fine. But the links are gone from the “front page” excerpts, though they still show when you click through to the full post page.

    Is there something in the disable-smart-quotes (oh for god’s sake whoEVER named them that anyway?) that’s fighting with the excerpt plugin?

    I have the excerpt reloaded set to:
    <?php the_excerpt_reloaded(50, 'all', 'content', TRUE, 'Keep Spankin'...', FALSE, 2, TRUE); ?>

    [Edit: adding in some further info/problems…. disabled the wpuntexturize plugin, and the excerpted posts did NOT show links as previously. So there’s something really wonky there.]

    Resolved…. I just input specific tags instead of using “all”, and now it works again. *shrug* Whatever.

    Sorry I caught this late. I’m still planning a v2 of Reloaded, and maybe I can figure out a way of making this less painful.
