The Events Calendar – working with WP Simple ?

    Hi everybody,
    I tried to install ‘The Events Calendar’ plugin on WP simple theme, but it doesnt work for me. I also tried a fresh installation of WP, Simple Theme and only The Events Calendar plugin, but still no success. Whatever category I link with an event, it just shows the standard posts page with some kind of dummy entry.
    Does anybody else have experience with WP Simple and The Events Calendar plugin ?
    I tried to switch to other themes and then the plugin works.
    Would be great to find a way to get this properly working. Thanks in advance !

    Sorry, after tracing a lot of php stuff and warnings unnecessarily, it was pretty easy to resolve by changing the settings: instead of using the page template (which was default) I had to use standard event template…
