The events calendar – Italian translation not working

  • Hello,
    I have the Event post plugin. In a page I have an event calendar widget that displayed day letters and month names in Italian language. After some update a few weeks ago, the calendar is no more in Italian but months and day letters are in English.
    In folder wp-content/plugins/event-post/languages I can see event-post-it_IT.mo and event-post-it_IT.po files.

    How can I solve this problem? Thank you in advance,
