The Events Calendar – Cannot create an event!

  • I have just installed this plugin to mainly use the large format calendar feature.

    I can set a post to be an ‘event’ using the plugin panel that appears. The problem occurs when i come to publish. I simply get a white screen at wordpress/wp-admin/post.php

    I’m guessing that perhaps means a php error somewhere? I’ve deactivated all other plugins but no joy.

    Anyone used this particluar plugin & got past this problem?!

  • I am having the same issue. Have you figured out how to go about fixing this. I really like the features of the plugin but if I can’t get it to work, I’ll have to find another. Thanks.

    So I ran the wordpress debug and got this error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function filter_var() in /var/www/vhosts/gripagency.com/httpdocs/dev/ifm/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/the-events-calendar.class.php on line 883

    I tried looking to see if the function had is being called from another file and maybe set to private but no luck. I’ll keep looking to see what I can find. And comment back if I can fix the issue.
