    I changed the wordpress theme to Hitchcock, on a website of a chessclub. All is fine except the Events Calendar. See “agenda” on our site https://chaturanga.nl. Do you have some suggestions ?

    Hi @eggbird,

    Hitchock doesn’t have any specific support for The Events Calendar, so I’d recommend you to get in touch with their support people to see if they have any advice. I know that their plugins have a number of different display options for archive pages, so it’s possible that you need to change it to a different one for the archive view to play nice with Hitchcocks template files.

    The Hitchcock theme is already an older theme. Do you have suggestions for a more modern theme, in the same style as the Hitchcock theme.

    I don’t have any specific theme to recommend, but if you’re looking for Instagram style themes (with only the featured images in a grid on the archive pages), searching for “WordPress Instagram style theme” should probably get you a lot of options to choose from.
