• Heck yeah. We did it!

This is such a major update, so please back up before upgrading. While we are supporting the plugin, we do not support individual user install for free users.

Tons of new features & a significantly improved core framework. Learn more..

Looking for additional featured like recurring events, ticket sales, user submitted events and more? Check out our premium add-ons.

I think it’s very unprofessional to launch a new plugin without also giving all of your developers some documentation on how to use the new 2.0 like we did with 1.6.5. Telling them to look in the template-tags.php file is not acceptable. I’ve been using your plugin for 6 years now and even some basic information would be nice. Before I could simply pull a specific number of events directly to my home page, now I must dig through your PHP to find it? Not cool!

    Hey Mark,

I hear you brother. Interestingly enough, we had a huge internal “discussion” between the support team and the dev team on exactly that subject the day before launch. The support crew wanted extra time to get those up, the dev team spent a ton of time documenting many of the tags and function and felt that directing people to look into the file would be sufficient until the support crew had time to get them up. Enough said, we live and learn.

We are working on that documentation this coming week and should have it up in our knowledge base: https://tri.be/support/knowledge-base/ & follow them up with some support videos: https://tri.be/category/help-video/.

    Sorry for the frustration. =)

    Hi Shane,

I can understand where you guys are coming from. I didn’t mean to be “too” upset with you either. I just know that a LOT of people use your plugin and love it! All I’m looking at doing is being able to pull in the events to the home page. I was pulling the latest 5 events through the appropriate category. If you guys could put up some basic documentation I think that would be a big help.

I guess I’m just getting too used to Expression Engine plugin support (as they have AWESOME documentation) so when you didn’t really have any here it was a bit of a letdown.

Anyway, if you can’t provide some basic documentation, maybe you can at least instruct us how to pull in the events, where we need them, or give us a date when the docs will be up.

    Thanks for the reply…

    Mark
