    Hello,
When The Event Calendar is enabled it causes the Themify Ultra Theme’s front end builder to stop working. The loading page spinners keep spinning and it does not show any javascript errors in the console.
I already went through the process of disabling a re-enabling all the plugins and it was The Event Calendar.
Please let me know if there is a fix for this. It was also pointed out by another user in the Themify.me support forums.

    Hi @digibread,

For me to get a better understanding of your setup, could you please provide the versions of the following?

    1. PHP
    2. WordPress
    3. The Events Calendar
    4. Theme and Version

I would also appreciate it if you could share the direct URL to the page you’re having difficulties with.

Please do not share any credentials, this is for us to follow the WordPress Forum Guidelines.

Looking forward to being able to assist you with this one.

    Hello @tristan083

    PHP = 7.4
    WordPress = 6.1.1
    The Events Calendar = 6.0.4
Theme and Version = Themify Ultra v.5.7.4

All pages are effected when attempting to use the frontend builder.

Thank you so much for the help.

Hi @digibread, that’s not good. Thanks for providing more information here.

Could you try upgrading the plugin to 6.0.5? See if that solves the issue you’re having. We released some fixes for a couple of front-end issues.

To be safe, we’d recommend conducting these tests on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.

Let me know how it goes.

    Best,
    Abz

    Hello @abzlevelup,
Unfortunately, it is still exhibiting the same behavior and will not load the Themify Ultra front end builder and again no JavaScript errors.
Please let me know what’s next.
    Thanks

Hi @digibread, sorry to hear about this. This is a bit tricky to debug since we do not have errors on the front end. Could you try using the default theme and see if that works?

Also, by any chance, could you check with the Themify Ultra team as well if they have a workaround for this?

Let me know how it goes.

    Best,
    Abz

    Hello @abzlevelup,

Setting the default theme is pointless as it is a problem with the Frontend builder of Themify Ultra that is not working. When I disable your plugin then it works fine.
This has already been discussed on the Themify Ultra Support forum in this thread. https://themify.me/forum/topic/frontend-builder-stopped-working-in-themify-shoppe-pro-templates.
The solution there was the user switched to another events calendar entirely.
I don’t want to go this route, if we can get this fixed. I’m sure other users of Themify are having the same issue.
Have you guys installed Themify Ultra and tried to troubleshoot your plugin?
Please let me know the next steps.
    Thanks again,
    Russ

    Hello @abzlevelup,
It looks like Themify has a fix to this problem coming out in a future release v7 according to this support thread.

Sounds like it should be out soon. Thanks for all your help and the great calendar plugin.

Hi @digibread, thanks for the updates here. It seems like they’d be fixing it on their end.

Thanks for the kind words, and yes, we do test out different themes as well. Although we are compatible with various themes, a couple of themes would need more customizations for them to work.

Also, note that we only partially support FSEs. We’re working on it. https://theeventscalendar.com/known-issues/#fse-support

Please do keep us posted on this one.

    Best,
