• Hi, with the new update of 03-13-2025 the error reappeared:
Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the woocommerce-gateway-stripe domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.)

    Can you help us?

  • Thank you for the report. We haven’t yet narrowed this down, but I have seen similar reports associated with sites running the WordPress 6.8 beta. Can you let us know which version of WordPress you’re running?

    Hello wizardoz28,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand that after the 03-13-2025 update, you’re seeing the error about _load_textdomain_just_in_time being called incorrectly for the woocommerce-gateway-stripe domain.

To confirm, are you using WooCommerce Stripe version 9.3.1 or 9.3.0?
Does the error go away once you deactivate WooCommerce Stripe?

To help you further, please share your site’s System Status Report by pasting it into https://pastebin.com and sharing the link here.

Once I have more information, I will be in a better position to assist you further.

    Best.

I confirm that we have updated from:
WooCommerce Stripe Gateway 9.2.0 to version 9.3.1
After updating to version 9.3.1 the error in question occurs repeatedly.
we were forced to restore a backup to return to version 9.2.0

    Hi @wizardoz28,

Thank you for your update. I understand that after updating from WooCommerce Stripe Gateway 9.2.0 to 9.3.1, you’re experiencing the repeated _load_textdomain_just_in_time error, which forced you to restore a backup to revert to 9.2.0. I know this situation can be quite frustrating.

To help us further investigate the issue, could you please share your System Status Report along with any available error logs? You can paste the information using https://pastebin.com or https://quickforget.com and then provide us with the link.

With this information, we can identify the root cause of the error and recommend the next steps to resolve it.

    Looking forward to your response!

So, the plugin is working perfectly. Error _load_textdomain_just_in_time was present in the version before 9.2 but when you released version 9.2 you fixed it. Now when you go from 9.2 to 9.3.1 the error repeats. We have not done anything to our website but we have only updated this plugin. Can you help us?

    Hi @wizardoz28 ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the issue started happening again after updating the plugin from version 9.2 to 9.3.1, and you haven’t made any other changes to your site.

To help us gain more insight into your setup, could you please share your System Status Report? This will provide us with valuable information to help resolve the issue.

You can find the report in your WooCommerce dashboard by going to WooCommerce > Status. From there, click “Get system report” and then “Copy for support.”

If there are any fatal error logs, please share those as well. You can access these under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you’ve gathered this information, please paste it into a code block in your reply or use Pastebin and share the link with us.

    Hello wizardoz28,

    Thank you for your reply.

Could you please share the complete system status report? You may hide URL and database information but other data will be useful for better understanding your site configuration.

I suspect this problem is related to this issue at Github.
This is based on the fact that your site language is set to “it_IT” but I need to check the complete report to confirm this.

Looking forward to your response. ??
