the entire website is shut down

  • I didn’t really do anything with the website recently, except changed a couple of codes from a plugin, nextgen gallery. Even after that, it worked fine for a bit.

    But then

    1. it shows below, which i dont know why.

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/51/11295651/html/wp-content/themes/newsprint/functions.php:18) in /home/content/51/11295651/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 896

    2. I cannot even access to the login page.
    3. so I deleted the entire folder of the nextgen gallery.
    4. Still the same. It seems to be a problem caused from the theme, but cant be so sure of it.

    Ensures you before handling to have a local backup.

    I encountered the same problem a few weeks ago. I modified a plugin.
    It may be the time of a duplication of function or white spaces in the beginning and end of php code.

    I do not know you advise as every mistake is different.

    You can go through ftp and temporarily simply remove the plugin files to check if the error comes from or theme.

    Then downloaded again via ftp plugin.

    or you can ask your host a back up yesterday.
    Gives news.
