As encourage to do by the developers of the Ultimate Social Media Share Icons plugin, I shall follow-up with our feedback.

So far, we are using the plugin on our hotel website and didn’t see that the email icon is redirecting to an external site, so at our hotel website, we have the same issue as below. If it can’t be solved, we will need to find another Social Media icon plugin for our hotel site too.

We want to use the plugin as well on our travel business websites. We have so far installed it on one of our travel websites. Everything is working excellent we only have one issue with the email icon redirection to an external blog and that our partners, customers, and other users don’t have a clue before they hit this site. It has nothing to do with our business and will not benefit us, our partners, or customers at all, as we can’t only operate only with the three responsive social media icons. In fact, there are only two Facebook and Twitter; the third one is the email redirection icon. We need other social icons as well, including Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

Today we nearly gave up and de-installed the Ultimate Social Media Share Icons plugin and started to look for other social media icons plugins. Then we thought that there must be a way to either disable the email icon or at least stop the redirection to the blog, but after several attempts to make it happen, we must conclude that it is not possible.

When we tried to disable the email icon, we got a popup asking for our feedback. Now when we are done with the feedback, we hope that it will be possible to try this plugin without the email icon before we buy any Ultimate Social Media Share Icons plugin Pro licenses. We can see that the plugin will work for two or three of our travel sites, and potentially also for other of our business websites.

    Regards,
    Finn

  • Thanks Finn for your feedback.

You can just de-activate the email icon, or? It’s not a must.

As the travel industry has been hit so hard by Corona, we offer a 50% discount for travel sites. If interested, please reach out to us at help (at) ultimatelysocial (dot) com.

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the delay in my follow-up.

You write that the travel industry can get 50% discount. I tried to get in touch with you at your website but the “Get in Touch” URL is not working.

How can I get the 50% discount? I would like to buy the first Ultimate Social Media Plugin and later on in May-20 buy more.

    Best regards,
    Finn

Please use the email stated above.
