    Hello everyone.

Website css files in the wp-content\uploads\elementor\css folder are automatically deleted. But elementor doesn’t regenerate automatically. Can someone tell me the cause of this?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

It sounds like there might be a few potential causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:

    1. Permissions: Check the permissions on the css folder and ensure that it’s writable by the server. Sometimes incorrect permissions can prevent files from being created or modified.
    2. Plugin or Theme Conflict: Disable all plugins except Elementor and switch to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One). Then see if the issue persists. If it doesn’t, reactivate your plugins and theme one by one to identify the culprit.
    3. Server Configuration: Check if there are any server-side configurations or security measures that might be automatically deleting files. This could include file or directory level restrictions set by your hosting provider or security plugins.
    4. Logs: Check your server logs and Elementor logs (if available) for any error messages or clues as to why the files are being deleted.
    5. Update Elementor: Make sure you’re using the latest version of Elementor and WordPress. Sometimes issues like this can be resolved by simply updating to the latest software versions.

By going through these steps, you should hopefully be able to identify and resolve the issue with the CSS files being automatically deleted.
