Yes and no. The data will still be in your database, but it won’t appear on your site.

Why would you want to turn it off?

I have just changed to Genesis and I want to use that SEO instead.

I’m not sure if that new plugin will recognize the data that you previously had in there.
It might be possible, but I’m not sure. Regardless, though, the info will be in your database.

What if I use this plugin: SEO Data Transporter? I asked on the Genesis forum and that’s what they told me to do. I posted here at the same time as I posted on their forum to see if I could get help from WordPress.

Also, Christine, do you know how to stop plugins like related posts from showing on certain posts and to not have those posts go out to my followers?
