The editor worked extremely slow

To help look into why this might be could you please provide your Site Health Information privately using this form. If you could also share a recording of this in action that would be helpful. You can do this using a service such as Loom.

For your Story view have you tried the 100% or 200% options? These should zoom in for you making the view larger for you to see.
