    Hi,
I tried the first six items on your READ THIS FIRST WordPress 5.2 Master List, but the “The editor has encountered an unexpected error” error still persist.
I know that I can use the Classic Editor to edit my posts/pages but it hasn’t the same features.
As my IT skills are weak I feel really disappointed and don’t know what to do more.
Please let me know what else should I do?
    Thanks!

  • The editor is written in javascript. So are other things, like plugins. Having an error in other scripts is a problem being discussed, but no solution is available yet. So, it would help to find out which code is having the error. You can read this page to see how to find the error.

Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors

If it’s a plugin, you can ask at the plugin’s support forum (same for theme) Or if it’s the editor, an issue can be opened on GitHub. (or report back here and we can see if it’s been reported yet)

    Hi, Joy!

The issue persists in Firefox and Google Chrome, but the new editor is working well in Edge!
Thank you so much for your help!

@j3365154 maybe you should try too!

    Thanks again!

In case it helps anyone, hard refreshing the page / clearing browser cache fixed the recurring “The editor has encountered an unexpected error” message and rendered the editor pages correctly for me.
