The downward shift of the text and icon inside the search box

  • Ajax Search Lite is truly an excellent plugin, first of all, thank you. My issue is that when I use the search box at the beginning of the page, there is no problem, but when I use it at the end of the page, as you can see in the attached image, there is a displacement in both the text and the icon. How can I fix this?

    Hi,

    Thank you very much for your kind words!

    The most likely cause might be an incorrect container widget. The search bar on the bottom might be placed into a text based widget, and those tend to add paragraphs to empty lines – as they treat everything as simple text inside of them.

    Try checking that and changing the widget type to Shortcode or HTML or anything similar to that. That will solve the issue.
