    Hi all,

I just noticed something, which I did not notice before. The “Discussion” option or setting is missing from some of my WordPress sites, while it is present in others.

It should be under the “General”, “Writing”, and “Reading” part of the WP Admin menu….

Is there anything wrong with my WordPress sites and how do I get this “Discussion” option back into my WP-Admin menu?

I have no idea at all, why it would be missing from some sites!

Edit: I now see why, the plugin Disable Comments will remove that option totally if the global setting is chosen.

You may have a plugin that is causing this. Check your plugins, it has to be a plugin that disables the comments….

Deactivate the plugin and your Discussion will come back.

Guest on my WP site has to sign in to comment. I sign in as guest to see what the guest page would look like. But on the dashboard they can see my site health status and WordPress events and news. Is there a way to block this.
