    Hi,

I created categories and linked them to the Menu and it works fine on Laptop but when I switch to tablet and mobile the Menu does not work.

If I hit the Menu button on tablet and mobile, The Menu displayed is not my Menu created previously. The Menu displayed is the default Menu of Storefront theme: Home, Cart, Checkout, Contact, Sample page, Shop…

How to fix this issue to have my Menu working also on tablet and mobile as on Laptop?

    Thank you.

  • I just tested this out on a test install and the menu doesn’t change for me between desktop/mobile. Do you have a live site this is happening on that you can link?

If not, if you disable all plugins does the issue still occur?

    Hi,

    Thx for your replay.
    I haven’t a live site. I’m on wamp localhost.

When I go to Appearence/Customize and test the “Menu” on different devices, it doesn’t displayed on tablet/mobile correctely as I described before.

Unfortunately, I have an other issue with “Appearence/Customize”. the main page of the siteweb not displayed on screen.
I have a message saying: “(mysitename) redirected you too many times”

But when I hit on “woocommerce/product catalog” the site reappear at the “Shop” page.

I’d deactivated all plugins and test again but the issue persist as described.

    The default menu on tablet/mobile
The Main menu on desktop only
The site not displayed on the screen at “Appearence/Customize” with a message as above.

Redirected too many times messages are usually do to using HTTPS. What settings do you have for the Settings->General page for the WordPress Address and Site URL options?

    Hi Jarret,

For the General Settings I have:

    WordPress Address (URL) = https://mysitename/wordpress

    Site Address (URL) = https://mysitename/wordpress

    nota: mysitename without .com

Have you tested this with a different theme to see if the issue persists? I still have yet to be able to replicate the menu changing from mobile/desktop when modifying the browser size to force it into the mobile layout.

When I go to Appearence/Customize and test the “Menu” on different devices, it doesn’t displayed on tablet/mobile correctely as I described before.

How are you testing this on different devices?

I test this in Appearance/Customize feature and also when I reduce the new tab browser.

I still have this issue. The mobile menu button doesn’t show the Main Menu which appears in the header of the desktop device.

The mobile menu shows the default storefront menu.

    Hi,

    Any solution for this issue.

Why Handheld devices don’t show the correct menu? They display the default menu.

My menu works only on the desktop, not on tablet and mobile.

    How to fix this?

    Thanks for everyone

I am having the exact same issue as described above… here is what happened to me. I had started out using the Twenty Nineteen theme. I had downloaded a few plugins for that, and then decided to switch over to Storefront theme. Storefront made my site look so much better almost immediately. I was very happy with the change. Then i checked it out on my Iphone and the menu for my store caused the pages to show up, instead of all the categories of products from Printful. On mobile it shows a list of items that come from inside wordpress editor, not the menu you set up through customizer. This only happens on cell phones.

The menu does work 100% perfect on PCs and tablets. I have looked everywhere for a solution and this thread is the only thing i have found. If anyone has an idea, feel free to visit our website at https://littlebeltmontana.com/
