The custom user role cannot access Rank Math general settings screen

    The custom user role cannot access Rank Math general settings screen.

    The editor role has the same permissions as the custom role, but with the editor I can access the general settings screen.

    I activated the rank math role manager and gave all permissions to the custom role and even then the general settings do not appear.

    By default, the Rank Math plugin adds rank_math capabilities to all WP roles. For the custom roles, you will have to add the capability from the Role Manager’s settings.

    But as I said above, I went to Role Manager’s settings and activated all permissions. Even so he didn’t release it, it was very strange.

    I even did the following test, using the members plugin I duplicated the editor function and created a role with the name “test”. And even with all the capabilities of rank math in the “test” role released, the general settings option does not appear.

    I really couldn’t activate it.

    I gave all possible capabilities for the custom role and do not release the general settings.

    The wordpress editor role, even with fewer permissions, can access the general settings screen.

    We have fixed this issue in the beta(v1.0.44-beta).

    Please update to the latest Beta version by following this tutorial:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#beta-updates

    That should fix the issue for you.

    The final version will be released in a few days, and you will see a notification in your dashboard when an update comes.
