    Hello,

This isn’t so much a problem with the plugin, I’m just wondering if there is any easier way to do this.

I’m creating a website whereby MP3s are going to be sold, either as part of an album or as single downloads.

I’ve currently set it up so that I have three downloads (test data) Track 1, Track 2 and Album 1. Album 1 is a variable priced product, I’ve enabled multi purchase so people can buy more than one product and I have set up three purchase options; Album, Track 1, Track 2. From here I have Added 4 files in the file download section. Track 1, Track 2 as part of the album purchase option, Track 1 as the Track 1 and Track 2 as the Track 2 option.

Now this all works fine but I was wondering if there is an easier way to do this? It seems a little convoluted doing it this way.

    Thank you.

  • When you say you have three downloads, do you mean three separate download products or three file downloads on one single product?

    Hello,

Sorry I mean 2 files uploaded but three Download “Products” created. So I have a file attached to Track 1 (Product), a file attached to Track 2 (Product) then a third product which has these two attached and I’ve called that Album.

Then within the Album product I have the options created so Track 1 gives you track 1 file, Track 2 the track 2 file and Full Album gives both tracks.

have you tried setting it up as a single product with multiple files that are restricted to specific price options?

    Hello,

Yeah, this is exactly what I wanted. I thought I had to create all the individual products then link them in a group product.

Thank you for your help ??

    Great!
