The consent status is displayed incorrectly

    Good day,

    I have placed the Cookie Consens plugin shortcode in the privacy policy on my website to display the consent status.
    [user_consent_state]

    For some reason it says I didn’t give consent. There, instead of the shortcode on the website, it says:
    Your current status: No consent given. (Dein aktueller Status: Keine Einwilligung erteilt.)

    I have accepted all cookies both in the cookie banner and in the individual selections (see screenshot). After that I reloaded the privacy policy page showing the consent status. It still says I didn’t give consent.

    Can you tell me why the cookies are not accepted?

    We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We suspect it to be a caching issue, so we recommend you to copy the code from here to your site’s active child themes functions.php to make the shortcode [user_consent_state] compatible with caching.

    Good day,

    Thank you for the feedback and problem analysis.
    The admin doesn’t want to change the functions.php – the plugin is expected to work without making any changes to the system.
    Is it possible that a future update will fix the problem?
