    Hello,

I’m experiencing issues with the conditional menu plugin; it stopped working after the latest WordPress update. Has anyone else faced this? Any suggestions for a fix would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Sorry, but the URL you posted isn’t working, please post a link tot he page where you have enabled the conditional menu and it is not working, so we can check.

Same here… the option to create a “conditional menu” has disappeared and remove all of them in the website… It seem for me a conflict with Polylang…

Same problem for me. No more Conditions available, all menus are wrong on my website. I use Polylang too.

It broke my site and displayed all links to pages that are not to be visible to the public. I had to install a backup from before the update.

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for reporting the issue. It might be related to the latest update in regard handling menu translations with WPML. Will ask our team to check about this Polylang compatibility issue.

    Hello,

There seems to be a compatibility issue with Polylang after the last update for the WPML menu translation feature. Our team is working on it. You may downgrade to the previous version here: https://themify.me/files/conditional-menus/conditional-menus-1.2.3.zip

Excellent. It’s working. Unfortunately, even if you go back a version, all the conditionnal menus you’ve created are lost. It seems to have erased the data.

UPDATE: Due to the critical issue with Polylang compatibility. We’ve reverted conditional-menus back to v1.2.3 and committed it as v1.2.5. We apologize for the issue. Our team will resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Hi, I’m having the same issue, for the first time in ages I’ve gone to assign pages to my conditional menu and it’s not letting me proceed. I click on conditional menu, then the overlay screen goes gray, then nothing.

My plugin reads as V1.2.5. Please advise how I can fix this.

You’re probably having the same confusion I had… when the gray overlay appears, try just scrolling to the top of the page and the option windows is there… it’s just fixed to the top of the browser window. I proposed the idea of making that option window to stay in the middle of the browser windows no matter where you are. I hope they will implement it.

Similar issue for me today (2/11). I attempted a rollback using the .zip file @themifyme supplied above on Jan. 12th, no luck. I have no idea when this issue started for us though, as it’s been months since I’ve had to use the plugin.

99% of my conditional menu ‘Conditions’ modal windows are displaying no checkmarks within the ‘Pages’ tab, even though they are displaying properly on the live website… The pages are listed next to empty check boxes (so technically not a blank screen), until I click the > pagination arrow and then the modal goes gray.

I’m really only concerned about not being able to see which menus are currently assigned to which page. Also nervous to add a checkmark next to a new page and click ‘Save’ without knowing if it will override the current assignments.

Update: I did decide to try adding one of my menus to a newly published page and clicked ‘Save.’ It didn’t affect any of the live pages with that menu (thankfully), but it also didn’t add it to my new page.

    Hi @monsterrnessie @revixi5 @aussieerin,

Please try re-installing the plugin (delete the plugin and install it again), we’ve fixed the issue in the updated plugin version and then if the issue still persists after the plugin re-install, please contact us via email at [email protected] so we can investigate the issue further on your website(s).

@revixi5 I’m hoping that will work, will make life soo much simpler. @themifyme Leaving that option as a final resort. I have 4 different menus with about 100 pages between them. Thanks for the direction

@revixi5 amazing, you were correct, if I scrolled up past the gray overlay I found the option window at the top! However, sadly it didn’t actually work. The pages were not assigning to the menu. Did you do anything different to usual to make it work for you?

If you don’t have a backup of your database using the previous version of the plugin, you may have lost a part or all of you conditional menus. In my case, reinstalling the plugin did not recover my menus, I had to rebuilt them again manualy.
