I really love this plug-in. But something odd is happening – on the appearance tab under colors, I only get 8 color boxes. On the tutorial there were these colors, plus a box to add hex code and a slider to choose all the colors. I only have a blank space where those are supposed to be.

I’m trying to add a certain color to a couple of my headers, but I’m not seeing any options beyond those 8 color boxes. I’m using a Genesis child theme developed by a web developer I hired. I’m not sure whether some of his code would somehow override the plug-in? Even if I couldn’t change the colors, it seems like I should at least see them in the Typography menu. My site is wayfinderadvising.com.

    Thanks!

    Hi CuriousT,
It sounds like something is triggering a javascript error in the customizer. Are you only seeing text inputs where the color should be and no sliders? Have you tried deactivating other plugins one by one to see what is causing the problem? Have you tried checking the plugin when another theme is activated? Cheers

Thanks for the advice. I deactivated the TinyMCE Color Picker plugin that allowed me to add my brand’s colors within the editor’s color palette and it resolved the issue. After I got all the fonts/sizes/colors with Google Easy Fonts, I reactivated the Color Picker and now I have the best of all worlds!
