• Hi there.
    Trying to understand why Google Chrome fails to generate and open a pdf file, I found out that, on Windows 10 64bit:

    1) Opera, Opera Neon, IE 11 (here the error message is more specific: “File doesn’t start with ‘%PDF-‘. Local\EWH-12348-0”), Vivaldi and Blisk fails as well;

    2) Edge, Firefox and Firefox Developer Edition work as expected.

    On both my old iPad 2 (iOS 9.3.5) and my iPhone 7 (iOS 11), all tested browsers – Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Foxbrowser, Opera Coast, Opera Mini, Apollo – work perfectly fine.

    I’m far from being a developer, but – IMHO – the failing browsers look like are not able to parse the PHP 7 “deprecated warnings”, and can’t find the initial pdf tag where it is supposed to be.

    Hope this helps you to get the issue fixed.

    Hi stemart,

    Just to know if downloading the PDF (PDF Button / Action / Download PDF directly ) instead of opening it in the browser has the same issue?

    Regarding PHP7 warnings, I have a new version (1.9.4) that fix these errors ready to ship but I need to do more testing, will be great if you can test it before I release it.

    To do so please download the .zip from here:
    https://github.com/Dinamiko/dk-pdf/releases/tag/v1.9.4

    then in your WordPress site deactive/uninstall your current version and upload/activate this one.

    I’ll really appreciate your feedback, thanks.
