The Checkout event fires on the Cart page registering a Checkout inside GA. Why?

    Yes, that was selected. When I deselect he entire ecommerce object disappears. How can I keep he ecommerce but change the checkout to addtocart to something that Google Analyics Enhanced eCommerce can detect because under Conversions, my checkouts and purchases seem to register correctly except for the add to cart actions. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

    If you select that checkbox then this is the normal behavior.
    If you need cart content in the data layer, there is a separate option for that on the same plugin page (“Cart content in data layer”). This will include the product data in a different data layer variable that will not interfere with EEC tracking.
