The cart is not updated after changing the payment method

Hi,
I have been unsuccessful trying to restrict the usage of a coupon code to a specific payment method. I have found 2 options on your plugin page to fix this issue. The first option is: On the settings page (Settings > WooCommerce Extended Coupon Features) check the box Update order review on payment method change.
I cannot access this option in my settings, I can only see the debug mode option? Why ?
The other method seemed to involve adding some code in a certain file to auto update the cart. I’m not that comfortable with this method.
Can anyone please advise of a simple and effective way to solve this issue?
