    Hi
    I am not able to publish any new posts or update the existing ones with Jetpack on.
    When I click PUBLISH (for new posts) or UPDATE (for any existing post or page) nothing happens.

    The buttons UPDATE/PUBLISH are not working with Jetpack on.

    This has started to happen a couple of days ago or so. When I deactivate Jetpack, the problem is no longer.

    Hope you can fix it as I can’t use the plugin.

    Hi there, thanks for reaching out!
    Happy to have a look at what’s happening, but before doing that we need to make sure Jetpack is well connected and working okay ??

    In fact I am seeing a connection error when I run your site through our diagnostic tools. Can you please try cycling your Jetpack connection, by deleting the plugin then reinstalling/reconnecting to WordPress.com?

    First, please go to WordPress.com/me and click on the sign out button, to make sure you’re completely logged out of WordPress.com.

    Then, to deactivate and delete Jetpack, head to your site dashboard and go to Plugins > Installed Plugins. Once the plugin is completely removed, go to Plugins > Add New to install it, then reconnect.

    I did what you said:
    logged out of wordpress.com
    deactivated and deleted jetpack plugin
    cleared caches
    installed and activated jetback
    connected to/logged in to wordpress.com
    Problem persists.
    I need this sorted out as I am not able to publish or update posts and pages as the UPDATE/PUBLISH buttons are not working with Jetpack on.

    Hi –

    I’ve run the site through the diagnostic tool and everything looks great.

    Do things work if you try a different web browser all together?

    I can see that there are a large number of plugins running on the site. Any of them could be running interference.

    As our next step, please disable all of the plugins on the site, including Jetpack. Reinstall Jetpack, then add one plugin at a time until you figure out which one is causing the trouble.

    That was my first step before I contacted you.
    I disabled all plugins and then enabled them one by one. It was only when I re-enabled Jetpack the problem started to happen. I have been using Jetpack for at least two years without any problems.
    This problem started to happen after last week’s Jetpack’s update. My developer asked me to contact you as apparently some other people experience this issue.

    Thanks for the additional information. Just to be clear, everything works as expected with no plugins installed on the site? And Jetpack is the problematic plugin?

    Could you let me know if working in a different browser helps at all.
