The Button is beautiful, but why no media integration?

    I was really sad, when I noticed, I can not use this beautiful designed button for media downloads.
    Could you maybe add a “select from media” button. I think then I could build reusable blocks for my wordpress editors…

    Hi there,

    You should be able to add whatever URL you like in the button URL field. Are you wanting to select a download directly from your media library?

    Yes exactly. Most of the time my editors will use buttons for Media download files..

    For us it would be Better if this download button could behave like the default ?file“ block download button. For example also in chrome it will download a PDF and not open it directly in a browser.

    Interesting – we may be limited to what the editor can do with URL components, but I’ll look into it ??

    what I was talking about is the possible to make the button behave like a real download button by setting this attribute:

    Aha, go it. This is likely something we’ll add to our custom attributes feature in the pro version. However, we’ll discuss if it makes more sense in the free version.
