• The Broadcast plugin does not make an entry in title Yoast SEO. When you click the refresh button on the page, the new entry is Saved, then disappears, but entries not in the title on other subdomains are not created. Please help! Thanks!

    Could you enable broadcast debug mode, broadcast the post to one blog, and then email me the long debug to read through?

    I do not know how to make debug mode. I recorded a video that clearly shows that the headers do not work, watch it at the link https://yadi.sk/i/d2bQktpBwUlnHg

    Is it the page title that is not being set correctly? It should be, since all Yoast SEO data is copied 1:1.

    Perhaps if you e-mailed me a login so I can try a broadcast for myself?

    Regarding morkovka52’s problem: the problem was that he did not set up the Yoast SEO page titles the same on the different blogs.

    So the problem was not related to Broadcast at all, but with incorrect Yoast SEO settings.

    It turns out that the problem was that all the data from the Yoast SEO plugin was transferred to subdomains, but to see it on frontend, you need to go to each subdomain and update this page, which is very inconvenient.

    @edward_plainview can you confirm what @morkovka52 morkovka52 said ?

    I only looked at the backend. If I remember correctly he has front-end caching, which would explain why the new title was not directly displayed.

    Clearing the page cache would most likely have solved the problem.

    The fault was, as usual, not with Broadcast but with an incorrectly configured plugin.

    @edward_plainview
    I don’t have any caching plugin enabled yet I have the similar problem
    1. When creating new posts everything seems to be working fine
    2. When I want to update the yoast info on already created new post, on backend side the data is there but I need to update each broadcasted post in order the post to be visible on frontend

    (@edward_plainview)

    If the back-end looks fine, then something between the back-end and front-end is causing the trouble. If you don’t have a specific caching plugin enabled, could it be Yoast SEO itself that is the problem?

    Since I’m not the author of Yoast SEO, perhaps you can ask them why the front-end doesn’t match the back-end until the post is updated in the editor?

    @edward_plainview
    It seems that the problem lies in yoast_indexable, during update of already broadcasted post this lookup table is not updated.

    (@edward_plainview)

    I’ve looked through the source code and tried to find the function which updates the yoast_indexable table, but the only thing I could find was a CLI command that reindexes the posts by emptying the tables completely!

    Surely there must be a better command that only reindexes a single post? Could you perhaps ask the Yoast people for that?
