    Hello I have a problem with a client. He had created an account to our site and his name and email is shown correctly in the billing and shipping address field. After he purchased something he wanted to purchase with a friend paypal account. After the payment the order has changed the name and email with the ones in his friend paypal account.

    Lets say I create an account with the name John Doe with email [email protected]. Ι purchase something and pay with my friends paypal account. The order is going to have my friends name and email. Is there a solution to this problem?

    Also I tried to update the plugin to the last version and I receive the Something went wrong. Please try again or choose another payment source. I tried updating the shop and it does not work so I use the last that worked fine the version 1.9.5. So if the problem is fixed to a newer version I would like to know and how to fix the above problem.

    – What checkout process was used (normal or express (using PP button on product or cart page)?
    – What details are shown on the WooCommerce order overview?
    – What details are shown on the PayPal order overview?

    Well I only have a checkout button after the cart page I do not have enabled express checkout.

    In the WooCommerce order overview the name and email shown as changed from the ones in the user account and are the same as the ones shown in the paypal transaction. Also the name is changed and in the shipping address. My client told me that he found out about the problem because his friend received the WooCommerce email for the order. Also the email we received was also with his friend name and email

    Where I can find the PP order overview? If I have to see paypal account There is a need to ask my colleague that manages the banks of the company.

    Thank you for your response. However, I still need to get the overviews of both the WooCommerce and PayPal orders. The PayPal order overview can be found on the PayPal site, and you get to this, when you press on the Transaction ID that can be found in the top of the WooCommerce order page.

    I would still recommend opening a private engagement in order to share these details.

    Hello,

    Since we have further handled this case via your private engagement, I will mark this thread as resolved. You can reply to the private thread if you encounter new occurrences of the issue when you have more information about this situation, since we could not get much further with the older ones we used. I hope removing the snippets you used will improve the general functioning of the plugin, but we can only know by the issue not occurring again.
