• I’ve been messing around with all sorts of plugins to handle PDF’s and other documents on my WordPress sites, including Issuu, Google Docs rendering mechanics and JavaScript stuff – while the most broadly compatible approach really is just to server the original file to the client, and let it handle rendering. All browsers under the sun now renders PDF’s optimal on the device used.

    So – all I really needed, was a way to automate the creation and presentation of thumbnails, so I didn’t have to do that manually.

    Fortunately Document Gallery handles this to perfection, and with so many useful parameters possible for the DG shortcode, its totally flexible.

    Add to that, incredible helpful support from Dan, we have a pure gem of a plugin.
