The Best in Every Sense of the Word

I have tried a number of search plugins for WordPress and for various reasons have pulled them all. But InstantSearch+ is 100% perfect in every way!

It is:

1. Very easy to use for the end-user – it works exactly the way you would expect
2. Very simple to configure without having to change the existing standard WordPress search and search widgets. Just install it and immediately your search is improved. There are options you can change, but for the most part the default settings just work out of the box
3. Very FAST! As developers we often get to know the quirks of a tool or plugin and convince ourselves that other users will quickly understand how to get the most out it. In reality, if it doesn’t work in the most intuitive way out of the box, users will get frustrated and stop using the tool. With most predictive searches I have used you have to stop and wait for drop downs to appear – not so with the aptly named InstantSearch+ – you type and immediately relevant products start to show up. It is amazing and very quickly allows you to zero in on the products you are looking for.
4. Comes with comprehensive analytics to help you understand your products and customer requests better
5. Very fast and comprehensive support. Unlike some customer service black holes, these guys respond quickly and intelligently, and are interested in your problems and making the product as good as it can be.
6. Advanced Engineering – this plugin uses offsite servers and databases in the cloud and has some impressive techniques built by real software engineers. It doesn’t matter how small or slow the server you run on because all of the work is performed on their servers to ensure performance and accuracy. It is very impressive to watch.

Although there is a free version of this amazing plugin, for most sites there is a monthly fee and I think this is an area where they are still tweaking the model. If you are making money out of your eCommerce site, you will make more with this plugin, but how much is not so clear though their analytics certainly helps you understand. I do know once you try this plugin it is very hard to go back to any other search – you’ll be hooked and hopefully your customers will too.

In conclusion, I’m really glad I found this plugin – it is easily the best search plugin available today and there is nothing else even remotely close to it. Do yourself a favor and give it a trial and begin to see search in a whole new way!
