The beginning of SEO

  • Hi,
    I have just installed SEO Yoast plugin into my wordpress. What immediate results can I expect to see now? How do I go about getting a baseline of where my website comes in the google search? I have had a look at the popular words that are in my posts and so I did a search in google, having reached page 20 of the results, I still did not come across my website. I am very new to this type of technology and am just wondering how to use this plugin so that I can sucessfully search for my website using some key words.

  • hmm this is strange… When did you instal the plugin? Its very very strange that you aren’t in the first 20 of Google searches for your keywords. How many hours or even days passed from the time you installed it?

    I installed it yesterday.

    Can you recommend how I can tell how many results it takes for my website to be found in google search?
