The Basic Theme Gets A Thumbs Up

  • I have used many paid themes over the years and find that the Basic, which is a free theme, has a lot going for it: clean and logical layout, efficient navigation menus, fast loading, and easy to customize. They even provided me with a child theme, which worked right out of the box.

    On 2 occasions I asked for help with coding for a few edits and have been impressed with the fast and efficient responses and help received. This is unusual with a free theme and made it more likely that I would purchase one of their paid themes in the future.

    For the Basic theme, the price is right…lol. I have ten plugins on my site and all are compatible. It is an excellent option for anyone who wants a user-friendly theme with crispy feel to it and gets the job done with no fuss.
