    1. log: https://www.dropbox.com/t/W9zvOUjqDfBzkBnL
    2. Trying to backup susandalcorn.com for the first time using updraftplus. Tried over the last 3 days. Never completes.
    3. Inactivated then deleted updraftplus, then reinstalled it to see if that helped. Made no difference other than cleared current activity.
    4. I looked at cpanel and saw that I had hit max io activity limit, and maz memory limit.
    4. Called host provider, (godaddy), and had them upgrade me to Ultimate, the highest category without a fixed ip address. No longer had those max limits.
    5. When I tried again after reinstalling and activating updraftplus again, updraftplus appeared to still know about earlier backup attempts, and again failed to complete.
    6. Would like to know how to make a complete delete of updraftplus so that there would be no content from prior use.

    Hi,

Could you try to reduce the backup archive split size. This will split the backup into smaller, more manageable files.

To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 100Mb save your settings and run a new process.

    Does the backups successfully complete?

    Best Wishes,

I first deleted all updraftplus files that I could find. There were a number left over from failed backups.

Then I changed the split size to 100MB, and that did work.

    Thank you very much!

    Hi,

I am having the same issue, however the size-split to 100MB did not do the trick for me ??

Interesting is also that it only happens for my daily automatically backups.

    Thanks!
