The backup is being aborted

    When I launch the backup of my site, I’m getting this error: “4875.349 (12) [Updraftplus] The backup is being aborted for a repeated failure to progress.”

    I’ve already reduced the backup size, but this does not solve the problem.

    Could someone please help me solving it ?

    Hi,

    The relevant line in your log file is this one:

    Zip engine: ZipArchive (a.k.a. php-zip) is not
available or is disabled (will use PclZip (much slower) if needed)

    You should ask your web hosting company how to turn on the PHP “zip” module on your hosting. The backup will then be able to proceed a lot faster.
