The backup directory is not writeable

    so currently getting a lot of errors when I try to optimize our media library with imagify. The main error is this

    The backup directory is not writable.

    I’ve checked it.

    the path

    /wp-content/uploads/backup/

    is writeable, is there something else I need to change?

    Hi @seabass888,

    This definitely seems to be a permissions issue regarding the BackWPup plugin, but our helper plugin linked to above is only able to help with these sorts of issues when they are specifically related to Imagify.

    Unfortunately, I believe in this case you would need to contact BackWPup support to see if they would be able to offer any solutions for you.
