The Author name isn't changing on my blog even after I changed all settings.

  • At the bottom of every blog post it says posted by ‘Carly’, a previous admin of the blog, I have removed her as admin, changed to my name, set up a new account in my name and made an author profile but it still says posted by Carly. I have changed all the ‘Author’ edits in the edit post tab. I don’t know what else to do. This is my writing attributed to someone else.

    Sounds like you’ve done most obvious things – the other thing I can think of is have you cleared your cookies/browsing data since you made the changes? Have you also tried viewing on different browsers to see if that makes any difference?

    Hi, thank you for your suggestions, I have tried this and it still hasn’t changed. I have also asked the website manager to see if they could do anything and they said it was a WordPress issue but they looked into it anyway and couldn’t change anything ??
