    Hello,

I am using the [tribe_events] shortcode on a page (page slug=”calendar”) because I want a header graphic at the top of the page, and I cannot do that if I use the default Events URL slug from the Settings (I have Events URL slug = events, and Single event URL slug = event).

Everything works fine, except when I select a single event from the Calendar. It goes to the single event page just fine, but the href for the “<< All Events” link is using the Events URL slug from Settings. It needs to be using the slug “calendar”.

So, in summary, if I use a [tribe_events] shortcode on a page, then the << All Events href needs to link to THAT page, and not the \events page.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

The “All Events” link will always point to the default events slug set on the plugin settings.

When creating a new page for the calendar using the shortcode you’ll have 2 pages showing the calendar and that’s not good thinking about SEO and user experience, so the best move here will be to create a 301 redirect from /events to your other page, /calendar.

You can use an SEO plugin like Rank Math or the Redirection plugin for that, both will provide a redirect section to let you manage all redirections properly.
