"The album will not link to a gallery subpage" not working?

  • I have the option checked:

    “The album will not link to a gallery subpage. The gallery is shown on the same page.”

    However, on my page /photos/ (I’ve inserted an album onto it),
    when I click on individual galleries, it still links to:

    photos/?album=1&gallery=1

    and not the same page as I would expect.

    Am I doing something wrong here?
