    Thank you very much for that wonderful plugin. I need it as an air. I have first problem – can’t get my API KEY.
    I tried to register in your web-site for getting API KEY.
    I’ve got the email for the activetion. All the time when I press the link I’ve get ”
    Error when attempting to active your account The information received does not match your account information. If you copied and pasted the link, please make sure it is complete, or click here to get your activation email resent.”
    I’ve tried some of resending e-mails and the result was the same.
    Help me pls! I need to clean up my users list!

  • Doesn’t work for me either. I emailed support a week ago and still haven’t heard anything back. Tried emailing again today.

    Does not work for me either. I cannot get the api key since I cannot register to their site.
    The activation link returns an error.

    I sent three emails and contact form to their support without any answer so far.

    Any help ?

    I’m in the same boat as everyone else here. I can’t get the activation sting to be accepted so that I can get teh API key to actually use WangGuard.
    So sad, I used this plugin in the past and loved it. It kinda looks like it’s dead. Many emails and no responses. The indi-gogo campaign is closed, and didn’t even come close to reaching its goal.

    Same problem here as of yesterday. Tried resending email. No difference. Even worse is the link on the error page to request new confirmation email has an invalid URL (Error 404) and so you have to try to login, then when it says you have to confirm your account, the link to resend email on THAT screen works.

    This plug-in is pretty highly rated. Too bad their operations appear to be very flakey.

    I was registering for non-profit website. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

    You can re-request API, as it says request has already been submitted. Kind of stuck. Been over a day and no reply from support.

    Be interesting to see if you purchase a PRO license if the activations works. Bet it does. ??

    Figured it out. Replace the %40 in the URL with @ and it works.

    This is the fix..

    I have this problem too – have requested my API key about 6-7 times now and I’m stuck in the loop saying I need to activate my account. The URL doesn’t work, even when I substitute the ‘%40’ for the ‘@’ as per @consultant1027.

    Anyone else in this position?

    Assupport – it didn’t work the first time I tried it. I opened a different browser and it worked there – perhaps that will work for you?

    Hi @rebeccaolsen, glad it worked for you. I ended up having more problems with my website login that seemed to be linked to WangGuard, so uninstalled it and I won’t be touching it again unfortunately ?? It sounds like a great idea and I would use it if the support were better!
