Hello. Over and over and over, I get this error when trying to log in to our client sites using SG Security.

“The access to that page has been restricted by the administrator of this website”

The only way we can get around it is to FTP, disable the plugin, then login, then enable the plugin.

Yes, its annoying to say the least. How we can fix it so we avoid this? If anyone can shed some light, it will be greatly received.

    Thanks.

    Hello @studioc5,

The SiteGround Security plugin has the option to restrict all outside access and allow only particular IPs that can log in to the dashboard.

We developed that option to protect plugin users from brute-force attacks and malicious login attempts.

You can communicate the case with your client and let them know your IP so they can include it in the list. This is done from WordPress Dashboard > SG Security > Login security > Login Access > Configure.

    Best regards,

Thanks, Georgi; I’ll give that a try. I appreciate the quick reply.
