• Everything is set, great, a little intrusive when it comes to premium, but OK.

    Then: the page cannot be backed up because it is over 1GB in size. Blablabla “Please buy premium.” Ooops.

    Thank you for your feedback Andrea.

    A crazy amount of effort went (and is still going) into creating this plugin, and we need to live from something ?? Especically large sites like yours can be very support heavy.

    What about the tip we provide in the plugin: You can select to back up only certain parts and thereby stay below the limit. Would that work for your case?

    Please let us know. Thank you!

    @andrea:

    Thank you for the tip, this is exactly the information I was looking for – also on the manufacturer’s website – and found nothing.

    It is OK that free plugins have a restriction, but I would like to know this BEFORE installing them, especially if it is a security-relevant product.

    So I can absolutely understand your assessment and abstain from a test.

    Thanks for your comment @zappob. We do mention it on our website (see https://monosnap.com/file/BZySAf3MYQCitZ3zBI8TsN89mc4Wdy) but it’s a valid point, we’ll add it to our readme shortly too.

    @aneises @zappob We considered your feedback, and as a result, we doubled the limit to 2 GB in the free version. This now covers the majority of WP websites. Would be great if you could give our plugin another chance. Thank you!
