• Hello,

Thanks for the update. The error message is gone and it looks plugin’s working fine but the worst luck it’s not. There’s size difference between plugin estimation and backup file size:

Backup my database and files (749 MB) manually, store the last 2 backups in /wp-content/backupwordpress-…-backups

    March 18, 2015 – 9:40 am 646 MB Database and Files

Apparently, plugin failed to create a complete backup.

At the same time on the other one of my websites I still receive the same error:

shell_exec() has been disabled for security reasons, /httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/classes/class-backup.php, 1860

I tried to update automatically then decided to remove and re install the plugin but the worst luck it’s still the same.

  • The estimation and the final ZIP file on my sites have always been askew like that.

I am pretty sure the ZIP file is always smaller than the estimation because the estimation is of the files BEFORE everything is ZIP’d up.

Right now I’m downloading it to compare the backup with my sites content.

Similar problems with backup/restore, before and after this latest update.

The zip file for sql-database seems ok but for files unzip gives different message depending on zip-program “it does not appear to be a valid archive/unexpected end of archive” som unzip and thereby also restore is not possible.
During backup message “d5f1f522e1e30774bd556513ba852177″:”escapeshellarg() has been disabled for security reasons,…..\\wp-content\\plugins\\backupwordpress\\classes\\class-backup.php, 1846” (48 50 52) is recieved.
Running latest WP and PHP om a windows server.

Backup file is identical with no missing file but I get the same shell_exec error on the other website with no backup file.
