• I thought it was a good idea to compress al images in the demos of themes that I sell. Instead, the plugin just ruined images from my installs. Now many images appear as broken in Media Library, with no preview, and all original images were deleted, and there is no way to revert back to original each image one by one to fix this problem.

Beside this, your plugin also affects the XML files which I’ve generated, and because of the meta keys added by your plugin with messages such as “Latest error: Your monthly limit has been exceeded”, even if I upgraded to pay for extra compressions, this error continues to be stored in each image entry from XML.

    Hi Pavel,

I’m terribly sorry you’re experiencing this problem. Let’s try to see what is causing this.

The plugin will send your image to our web service and replace it with the compressed image. When the images now look broken, there could be an issue in saving the compressed image. Is it possible for you to verify if the images exist on disk?

Once you enter your credit card details and retry to compress an image, it should compress it. If this is not working, could you send the email address you used to register to [email protected]? With this, we can check if your payment details are entered correctly with our payment service.

Finally, I’m not quite sure which XML files you are referring to. We do store some meta data per image, to remember which images are compressed and avoid compressing images multiple times.

Thanks for your feedback. I hope we can use it to improve the plugin in the future.
