When using forms inside a modal/overlay/popup type plugin, that other plugin will control whether the popup stays open when a form is submitted — so unfortunately we’re not able to control that.

I found a forum discussion here that may offer a possible solution, though it may require some experimentation.

While we aren’t able to provide support for altering Bootstrap code, I hope that link helps you to find a solution!

In case it helps, though, we would be able to help you to keep modals open for either OptinMonster (our sister company) or the free Popup Maker plugin (you can check out this thread for those details). Outside of that, however, the Thank You page is the best way to go.

Sure, so to add Google reCAPTCHA to your form I’d recommend following this tutorial. That will walk you through all the steps so you can quickly get this integration up and running.

And to fix the email delivery issue, we recommend installing an SMTP. When these notification emails either get sent to spam or don’t arrive at all, it’s because the recipient’s email provider blocked them — we’ve seen this happening more often, a result of email providers working to combat increasingly common and clever spamming efforts.

An SMTP will authenticate your WordPress emails (including form emails), which will allow them to get delivered successfully. For more details on that, as well as SMTP options to fix the issue, please see this tutorial.
