    Hi @delawaregrad

We did recently add a filter to change where the user was directed to after successful submission, however we found that it affected the submission process, a design detail I wasn’t aware of at the time, so I’m a little hesitant to recommend it until we can ensure the submissions still get processed. Eying trying to get this taken care of for 1.2.3 soon.

I personally also want to get some more hooks and filters in place to help with this, that 3rd parties can latch onto and do their own thing with, that wouldn’t interfere with the submission process, we just haven’t gotten those added yet.

Most basic and quick “hack” that I could help with would be filtering the gettext field for the success message, so that you could customize that a bit.

Thanks for the quick response. Constant Contact sends a welcome message, but my client wanted something more. I’ll look into your suggestion when I have more time. thanks-

The default message is something I’d like to see more easily customized as well, so it’s definitely in our radars.

Is there supposed to be a default message that shows on the page after submission? I’m not getting any message at all. Not sure if that’s what you’re referring to?

In terms of the form’s placement itself, a successful submission should show “Your information has been submitted.”, but that’s it. That’s the one that my “hack” mentioned above would be related to. The one that Constant Contact sends out is well after the execution of the plugin here, and not something we’d be interacting with.

Hmmm, ok, I don’t see that. The form is in a modal box, though, so maybe that has something to do with it.

definitely possible you may not be, depending on how you’re constructing the modal.
