Thank You banner text in admin won’t go away

    Hi,

    The little banner after updating the plugin in the admin dashboard “Thank you for installing the?301 Redirects plugin! Please open?Settings – 301 Redirects?to manage redirect rules and view the 404 error log.” will not go away.

    It overlaps text on all pages and really disruptive.

    Any suggestions on how to remove it?

    That’s a builti-in WordPress admin pointer, 301 Redirects just uses it to display a notice about where to find the Settings page. But it sounds like some other plugin or the theme is breaking the functionality so you could try temporarily disabling other plugins then close it and then re-enable them.

    Thanks for the follow-up.

    I disabled all plugins, reenabled 301 Redirects, dismissed the notification banner, and then reenabled the rest of the plugins.
