  • I’m not a developer and it did take me a while to get my head around what I was doing but I got it working how I want it – just showing header and recommendations on my Welcome page.

    I initially struggled with getting it to work as a widget in the sidebar and then just realised that all I needed to do was to paste the shortcode into the text section of my Page (and delete any unwanted parts of my linkedin profile by going to SETTINGS/LINKEDIN and deleting them out of that box at the top.

    Totally simple once I got it sussed. Thanks so much Claude ??

    one other solution is to specify the list of fields directly in the shortcode:

    [li_recommendations fields="..."]

    that way you can have different way to output your profile on different pages.
